At Protein’eXpert,
the internal R&D activities are focusing on the development
of technology platforms designed to meet our customers and partners’ needs
and overcome recombinant protein production related barriers. Since
the creation of the company, we have continuously participated
to National and European collaborative and interdisciplinary
R&D programmes.
Hereafter some examples of projects we have been
involved in:
• |
| Profun project (2002-2006) |
Granted by the National
Network or Research and Technological innovation,
GenHomme (presently RIB)
- Identification of potential novel antifungal targets
- Setting up of a pipeline of proteins for drug design
- Determination of protein/ligand structure for improving drug
design development
• |
| MicrobeArray project
(2004-2006) |
EU funded project (CRAFT COOP-CT-2004-508399)
- Development of new diagnostic markers
- Development of protein chips technology
• |
| Smallpox project (2005) |
Granted by the National Network
or Research and Technological innovation, GenHomme (presently
RIB)
- Discovery of new target proteins of human pox.
• |
| Yarrowia
lipolytica project (2005-2007)   |
Granted by the National
Research Agency (ANR)
- Development of a new expression system Yarrowia lipolytica for therapeutic
protein biomanufacturing.
